The Mediobanca Research Area has presented the new version of its survey on large-scale distribution, Italian and international, with a focus on the food industry. The survey combines the earnings and financial data of 130 Italian firms, plus 31 of the leading international operators for the 2017-21 period. For Italy alone, coverage is estimated at 97.6% of the market. The report includes a focus on the large-scale distribution industry’s governance and sustainability in Italy.
